Pointillism
Pointillism is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of pure colour are applied in patterns to form an image. This technique relies on the perceptive ability of the eye and mind of the viewer to mix the colour spots into a fuller range of tones.
Below you can see some of Simon's work which can be likened to pointillism, in the medium of ink on cartridge paper. Currently Simon is doing a lot of work in this style, enjoying adding his own unique twist to it and can turn it to any subject matter.
